Grape Friends

This was going to be a traditional still life of grapes, but when I started arranging the composition, one of the bunches looked like a figure walking, which gave me the idea to turn it into an illustration of green grapes and purple grapes working hand in hand. I also painted this during the 2020 Black Lives Matter marches, which inspired me to make this about friendship, inclusion, and racial harmony.
